Hi there! I'm Oludara Adeeyo.

Author, psychotherapist, and wellness advocate.

Based in Los Angeles, Oludara (Dara) works as a psychiatric social worker, where she assists individuals who are experiencing homelessness, substance issues, and severe/persistent mental illnesses. Oludara is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) for the state of California.

Oludara is passionate about helping people improve their overall well-being; especially, Black women. She is also a plant-based eating enthusiast. Oludara loves encouraging people to include more fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and any other whole foods in their daily diet. A healthy gut means a healthy mind.

Before becoming a clinical social worker, Oludara spent seven-plus years working as a writer and editor. She has been an associate web editor at Cosmopolitan and the managing editor at XXL.

Oludara Adeeyo has a Master of Social Work from University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism with a Minor in Women's Studies from Hofstra University.

Her debut self-help book, Self-Care for Black Women, drops January 11, 2022.
